It bears only a slight resemblance to the original.  Some of the the character names & general outline of the show are the same but everything else is completely different.

It's much, much darker than the original series.  Excellent writing, acting & directing are hallmarks of the show.

yeah i read the A section last too...the style sports and metro is my train reading...whatever i dont finish out of them plus the A is my in office....i read the paper cover to cover minus the business section everyday....
