I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

MDS

It's a great show. And I'll go through puberty one of these days.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Wow, Heroes was incredible tonight.

It certainly was.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I finally got caught up on Jericho last night. I haven't watched an episode on TV since it came back from its hiatus but I am loving it.

Tonight's episode of Jericho was freaking awesome.

Easily the best episode since the pilot.

Susquehanna Birder

All hell is gonna break loose now. Cool beans.

Could Lost really be that easy?  A show called Lost, on a paradise island?  Like John Milton's Paradise Lost?  Milton's poem grapples with many difficult theological issues, including fate, predestination, and the Trinity. Also, Milton's purpose, stated in Book I, is "to justify the ways of God to men" (l. 26) and elucidate the conflict between His eternal foresight and free will.  Fate - the way many of the characters lives intersected, even appearing in flashbacks of each other. Somehow, they all ended up on the same flight.  Predestination - Desmond is always trying to change the way things happen, but his attempts have been futile so far.  I got nothing on Trinity.  In tonight's episode, Ben is trying to get Locke to do something "by his own free will", but fails.

A list of characters, and why they are in "Paradise Lost":
Kate - fugitive, and killed her father
Sawyer - con man, and murderer. He killed a man that no one could have known about, yet Ben knows.
Desmond - a former prisoner, and was kicked out of the Monestary while trying to find God.
Sayid - former torturer.
Jin - beats people up. In one episoide, had "blood on his hands" after what I assumed was a murder.
Sun - Adulteress.
Claire - wasn't she a little hellion while younger? Something about disowning her mother?
Charlie - former drug addict, where heroin (which was found on the island0 represents his fight against his demons
Hugo - not sure if he was ever "bad", but could his instant riches, which caused so many people harm and even death, be his sin?
Jack - I don't recall seeing Jack do anything bad in his past.
Locke - same for Locke.  he appears to be "clean" (and I am beginning to think, is THE central character in this show)

Former characters, and their roles:
Ana Lucia - murderer.
Mr. Eko - he was bad to the very core.
Nikki and Paulo - murderers and thieves. They ended up being buried alive, which could be their sentence to hell.
Libby and Shannon - don't recall much about their past.
Michael and Walt - they were allowed to escape the island. I don't recall which direction they were told to travel, but could it have been North (implied to be to heaven)?
Aaron - who represents purity. He was named after Aaron, brother of Moses, from the Book of Exodus. Per wiki, Aaron represented the priestly functions of his tribe, becoming the first High Priest.
The chick from the helicopter - She says her helicopter crashed in the ocean, yet somehow she ended up in the middle of an island.  As far as I know, you can't eject from a helicopter, which tells me she's dead.

Other things:  all the coincidences that apply to personally troubling times in their lives -- Eko's brother, and the plane he was flying in, Locke's dad, the heroin, the polar bear (Walt was reading the comic book right before the flight, which may have frightened him).  All things that would be there for people to face, pending their "sentencing".  Plus, two separate people, unrelated, told the same exact story about the plane being found on the bottom of the ocean, with all people dead.

So who is Ben?  he is trying to get Locke to "free his soul" by killing his dad, but that would have been a trap to get him to sin and be sentenced to hell. Instead, Locke figures out a way to free his soul without sinning. And said at the end, he is on his own journey now.

Just my thoughts after tonight's episode.  I'm sure it's full of holes, but I wanted to throw them out there for thought.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

You can watch the full episodes on CBS.com too; thats how I caught up on the season. And yes, tonight was awesome. Gray Anderson had to go crawling back to Johnston. I like how they have made Hawkins out to be too.
