not a perfect show but a very fun, very entertaining watch. its about con men and organized crime. bryan cranston plays the crime boss and chews some scenery a few times an episode. done by the same guys who did justified. judge phelan from the wire is the grandpa. herc is in the first episode.

i think you mediocre simpletons would like it.

I had no idea Its Always Sunny was still putting out new shows but I just saw the Water Park one from a few weeks ago and they still got it. Pretty hilarious. Mostly about AIDS blood.

just finished up season 11 ... gonna watch 12 this weekend.

also started watching Netflix's, Frontier. Eps 1 was pretty good. stars Jason mamoa.

for anyone in need of a light, breezy watch there is this show called the detour.

its with jason jones and human boner pill natalie zea. the kids are funny! theres some weird stuff that doesnt entirely work and jones too often gets over the top and cartoonish but its pretty fun. interesting twist for s2, which i believe starts soon. its only 10 eps, 20 mins a pop. goes by quick.

watched the first three episodes of luke cage....the show itself is boring and cheesy but its worth watching for the amazing hip hop undertones....from obvious ones like pops barbershop to the numerous instances of actual dialogue being lyrics from rap songs i spend my whole time watching trying to identify them all....even the horns in the faith evans song were from a diamond d track

The show is slow as shtein, but I still like it. It's well written and well-enough acted. The music and non-super-hero themes definitely elevate it.

it kinda reminds me of sin city in a lot of ways...like its a couple chromosomes away from being partially animated...it has that comic book goofiness to it much of the time...this is obviously done on purpose to give it a comic book feel and it definitely works im just not into that kind of shtein

and yeah if it wasnt for the hip hop background and the fact that it all goes down in a real place (its actually harlem not gotham city) im not sure i could make it thru....the story itself does nothing for me and a guy walking thru a hail of bullets and throwing people threw walls is stupid and gets old after the first time it happens

I'm pretty sure all of Marvel's background cities are real places....except the outer space shtein. DC Comics went with fictional names like Gotham and Metropolis.

Daredevil and Jessica Jones take place in Hell's Kitchen and Iron Fist is from NYC, but I don't know if the comics ever named a specific hood that he was from.
