HBO has been on a downward spiral for quite awhile now....this is nothing new...im probably missing one and there may be one or two that I haven't seen but  other than the leftovers I can't think of a new HBO show that has moved me in maybe the last ten years?...if not quite ten years at the very least they have been going downhill for a long time

it's hard to say they are going downhill when they have a current show that is a massive hit.  you may not like GoT but you can't deny its huge.

hbo has actually rebounded quite well after the sopranos/wire/deadwood/sex and the city era ended. they hit a rough patch directly after that, but right now they are on fire. well, they were. this current lineup they have is god awful, but other than that theyre doing great stuff.

still, TD will be a ratings hit and ballers should do well even though its retarded.

you hate game of thrones but its the biggest thing theyve ever done. i hate to break this news to you, but the world doesnt revolve around your delicate entertainment sensibilities.

yeah it revolves around zombies and dragons and vampires..doesn't make it quality...HBO been weaker than seven days for a while now...their documentaries are still outstanding tho....that and maher really the only reason to have it

In your eyes, the show is a groundbreaking masterpiece. There is no comparison. You can't appreciate that because there's dragons but the production, story, acting, and emotional roller coaster is unreal.
