They spent alot of money trying to get him healthy but im pretty sure they were milking him dry once he was off the medications. 

Actually, a horse nut at work tells me that artificial insemination eliminates the "purebred" or whateverthefargit'scalled status.
They have to deliver it the old fashioned way to get paid.

Poor Barbaro. This horse has been living the good life.  I hope my last few months on earth are spent getting jerked off non-stop by a bunch of strangers.  Actually, I hope my next few months are spent like that.

If anyone still has their Sunday newspaper, check out the PARADE magazine insert.  One of the questions on the front page asked about the status of Barbaro, and they reported that he suffered a setback but is now in stable condition.   

The website got hit with several dozen complaints today....

Editor's note: In the Feb. 11 edition of "Walter Scott's Personality Parade," we reported that 2006 Kentucky Derby champion Barbaro was in stable condition. Sadly, Barbaro developed serious complications after we went to press, and the horse had to be euthanized on Jan. 29.
