No, that wasn't Vince Papale - you're thinking of Louie Giammona.

Papale was strictly a special teams guy, but a decent one and, as you all can imagine, a big fan favorite. How could you not root for a guy who made the team in that way? 

Good call 64.  Louie Giammona was about the same size as Reno.

Kinear as Vermeil, hhhmmmm.  I envisioned Ryan Seacrest as Vermeil.

Man I got chicken skin watching that trailer, especially the shots of Wahlberg in the Vet.  Great cinematography work as this began filming after they blew up the Vet did it not?

Agree.  Actually looks watchable.  Plus, any widely-released movie with an E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES chant deserves a ticket ot two purchased by me, no?
