No we haven't. And it's gotten worse since Obama was elected and then magnified when Cheeto Dick was in office.

It's crazy to think that Till would've been only 80. That ain't old in the sense of the timeline of history. What happened to him wasn't that long ago.

Is there a clinical term for people who cling desperately to meaningless (at best) or toxic (usually) traditions in the face of all evidence that these stupid useless traditions are harmful? Like, what kind of worm-addled brain has a farging meltdown about a professional sports team changing its name to accommodate for people who are genuinely hurt by its implications? These whiny bitches are unwell and should be launched directly into the ever expanding depths of space.

Not just that -because it's all true. But for a sheriff to use the official county Facebook and a statement made in his role as a county official is just wrong.
