Random question for you IGY.  Had on JJJ radio, this song by "Illy" came one.  I'm curious why is it Aussie rappers can still sample?  Was  the sampling ruling just US only?

no pretty much anyone who samples gets clearance...but this is nothing new...this has been going on full scale since gilbert osullivans lawsuit against biz in the early 90's

its just that very few people sample anymore
