The Bloom selection was definitely out of character for Andy.  He usually picks nice, solid, plodding guys from the midwest in the later rounds.  Not lightning rods who ski bumps at a world-class level.

I was also stunned when I saw the pick flash.  It took me a second to realize what they had done since it was so unexpected.

jesus.  i just mean andy and co. usually play the safe route in the later rounds, picking developmental offensive linemen or projects from byu.  they nevr go for the flashy pick, which in my opinion is what this was.  not only does it really help our return game hopefully, he's going to be a player that people love.  speedy little white skiier/model playing football, thats a good story.
