Big-time choke today. They choke every year so no surprise.

Losing record clinched for the Big Ten in bowl games.

Minnesota blew the biggest lead in bowl history and got their coach fired.
Iowa, at 6-6 heading into the game, came as close as possible to knocking off Texas.
Purdue sucks.
Michigan was outmatched by USC.

PSU has the huge fumble recovery TD which cost a possibly superior Tennessee team.
Wisconsin held on for dear life against a far superior Arkansas team.

So, OSU can't play for Big Ten pride.  Bummer for them.

Of all the "major" bowl games this season, the Rose Bowl held the smallest interest for me.   I didn't even watch but five minutes of it.  I watched a M*A*S*H marathon instead.

big ten had a decent showing today...but the notion that two of their teams should be playing for the national title game was always and is absurd...michigan doesnt even make the sec championship game if they had to go thru that conference
