#3 - crock of shtein
#11 - he's trying too hard... that's easily a top 3 game
#23 - should be much higher just based on the size of the respective fanbases

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Henne has a lot to prove yet.  Good decision by him.

Unlike Leinart... Have I mentioned recently how farging stupid it was for him to stay for his senior year?

QuoteSources: Golden turned down BC

Sources familiar with the situation have confirmed a Boston Globe report that Temple head football coach Al Golden declined to be interviewed by Boston College for its vacant position.

The Atlantic Coast Conference member made inquiries to speak to Golden after Tom O'Brien left last Friday to take the North Carolina State job. But Golden, who just completed his first season on North Broad Street, did not want to talk. He was a member of the Boston College staff from 1997-99.

The Owls, who will join the Mid-American Conference next season, were 1-11 this year as an independent. The Eagles (9-3), the only program to win a bowl game each of the last six seasons, will play Navy in the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte, N.C., on Dec. 30.

Former Massachusetts head coach Mark Whipple, currently a Pittsburgh Steelers assistant, is considered the leading candidate to replace O'Brien.

What an idiot!! But he's our idiot, now.

T for Temple U.....

Stanford hires Jim Harbaugh

Will he take brother John with him for a coordinator gig?

Rome

NFL Special Teams Coordinator or Offensive/Defensive Coordinator at Stanford?

Tough choice.  Stanford has an unbelievable golf course on its campus plus no Reno Mahe!

They were Temple-bad this past season.

They've had 8 winning seasons in the last 25 years, so although they have first-rate facilities and a campus that would make God himself blush, it's not really a great situation from a coaching staff standpoint.
