Summary:

The Eagles need a good start more than anything coming off of last season, and that's what they should get with this schedule.

Man, we're in April and you guys are already picking W's and L's for next season. Pretty brutal.

I will say though that the first half the season seems like cake, so if the Eagles start off strong those three consecutive division road games become much more easier. One thing that this Eagle team lacked last season (besides talent due to injuries) was confidence. They looked like they didn't want to compete.

With everyone healthy and a good win streak to start the season I don't see why the Eagles can return to dominance again. It's not being homerish, it's just being realistic about the division and the NFC. There are no real juggernauts.

The key, obviously, is early on though. I look at the first 4-6 games and see no reason why the Eagles can't win most/all of them. It's not a given, but they definitely look within reach.

I'm excited for this season, because, really, it's so hard to predict at this junction.

Yeah, but draft picks are fun to speculate on and they add to the talent of the team and subsequently the team's success. Plus, the draft is right around the corner, the beginning of the season is months away and this team isn't complete in the sense that there final roster isn't determined and you won't know what level they'll be playing at until they step on the field.

other than maybe the first rounder its fun to do that on the day of the draft right before the eagles are about to pick...why would anyone sit down a month before the draft and try to predict who the eagles will take in the 5th round...

how to guide for the eagles to make the playoffs: BEAT THE SKINS IN WEEK NINE AND THEY GET IN

the eagles have a big advantage early with three of their first five against hou gb and sf

three of their first five at home with hou and sf the road games

one tough road game in the first eight then the bye set perfectly at the mid point of the season

the skins game at home in week nine coming out of the bye is the eagles make or break game imo...they win that game and they get into the playoffs...

they shouldnt be less than 6-2 into the bye week...coming out of the bye week is two home games one being against a weak tenn team the other the aforementioned skins game...win against the skins and they could easily be 8-2...and they almost have to be because they have an unreal sked coming down the stretch

You missed me.  That's the part I told you I agree with.  That game could very well end up being a pretty big one towards winning the division or even getting at a WC.

as usual people here yeast the things that i dont say positive about the birds...im on record as saying any of the four teams can win the division this year but that i believe the taterskins have the best team and will win it
