Yeah, freebasing won't mix well with the hot dose he'd inevitably shoot.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Rough game to listen to (had XM Radio while crawling down I-75 after school).  Just game 1 of 162.  Pull it together and go at it again Wednesday.

Loved hearing the baritone voice of Harry Kalas again, though!  :yay

SunMo

well....that was not as much fun as it could've been.  but i did see a fight 2 rows in front of me, so that was nice.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Burn Gordon!

True.  I do blame him for not having a save today also.

I could definitely see a Cardinals sweep.

Preach the Gospel, Brother!!

Go Cards!!
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Reading used to be a bunch of dopey white people, like in the 50's.  Now my dad would almost certainly get mugged and beaten on the street he used to call home for much of his young life.

your pops is from reading?  what HS?

So we went to the opener today, six tickets at $20 bucks per for nose bleeds, 10 beers at $6.25 each, and some other expensive junk, and a long drive round trip from Virginia for our first trip to Citizens Bank Park. Beautiful stadium, it's a shame the Phils stunk up the joint so badly today. Believe me, it was ten times worse to watch the debacle in person. Only a first game though, at least they were knocking the ball around decently.  :-\

Pics:

This pic was at the middle of the exodus that took place right after Rolen's grand slam.
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

Until they had runners on base and/or in scoring position.
