Utley takes the field with a meat cleaver in one hand and a glove in the other. He is a butcher. But he has shown he can play decent defense. He was OK last year. His biggest problem is turning two. He tries to rush it and that cannot happen. But I will take it because of what he can do with the bat and on the bases.

Ryan Howard was also much better last year defensively. But he has had numerous plays this year where he has flat out farged up. Both him and Chase need to improve the leather work.

Nice to see Burrell heating up. Just in time for the trade deadline time.

still i cant see anyone taking him...tho there was a a white sox beat writer on espn news today saying that burrell to the sox was hot right now

Although I tend to agree that I don't see anyone taking him, I am hoping like hell that someone takes the bait. I don't care if its the Yankee, White Sox or whoever. Unload the fraud and his fatass contract with him. The bad part is Patty has a FNTC. So if he don't like the city, he can veto. But I am hoping that he just wants out of PHL and will go to whoever.

If he goes to the White Sox, I hope they get McCarthy in return.
