they should bring up Matheison or Gonzalez and just let them take their lumps up here.  i mean, the results very well could be the same as if it was Madsen/Floyd/Lidle, but it at least it would be serving the future.

Yes.

So far this season:

Ryan Madsen:  5-3, 6.04
Gavin Floyd: 4-3, 7.29
Ryan Franklin: 0-1, 5.11

Again, I say, could Franklin be worse than Floyd or Madsen have been this season?  I am in no way saying that Franklin is great, good or even mediocre, but to say he couldn't be any better than 6 or 7+ runs per game is a bad, bad sign for the Phils.

That said, I say GET WILLIS!

I love Franklin. He basically admitted that the sucks. Can't get on a guy who admits the truth.

i disagree....hes not a myers type pitcher with great stuff but doesnt know how to pitch

he has a great curve and absolutely nothing else in terms of pitches...which is sad because his curve could be a great out pitch if set together with soemthing else

does he need a brain and/or heart transplant...perhaps...but to me thats worthless until he gets some additional pitches

maybe its time to say that he just isnt good enough to be a major league pitcher
