Man I know people haven't seen Hamels but he made Junior Griffey look foolish.  That inning made me happy in pants.

Hamels looks like hes trying to imitate Arthur Rhodes with all the walks, but he still hasnt given up a hit. So...its all good.

He does seem a little amped up.  Understandable for a 22-year-ols making his MLB debut.

He's got some electric stuff, though.  :yay

For those watching on TV how close was that catch by Victorino?  Radio guys more pissed that he tried to sell the catch to the umps instead of getting the ball in.

It one hopped pretty clearly on TV, but Victorino made a nice play to stop the ball.

It was pretty obvious it bounced off the ground and into his glove.

Hamels sure does have a live arm, has some control issues that need to be addressed.

Victorino may have legitimately thought he had caught it, but it was trapped.  The ball clearly hit the ground.

Hamels is done for the night, I would have let him hit but oh well.
