guido on guido crime

No such thing.  What you speak of is called Family Business.

how do they even pull the trigger on the gun with all that grease everywhere?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Sgt PSN

What the hell are you talking about?  We never shot no one.  Just a bunch of honest businessmen.

Well I'm home in bed and my leg feels like it was run over by a train.

The last thing I remembered before surgery was them putting me on the table. Then I woke up in recovery. I'm still in a daze but it's wearing off and the pain sucks.

They gave me norco? Which i guess is like vicodin? I wished for something stronger.

A little disappointed there were no hot nurses there.

MMH if you're on-line can you explain the difference between Norco and Vicodin please? Neither is killing the pain.

I called for something stronger and the doc didn't give me a different narcotic but rather gave me Ketorolac to take with the Norco.

Norco=Vicodin:  acetaminophen (tylenol) + hydrocodone
Docs don't like including other standard NSAIDs after surgery, since they increase bleed times.
Oxycodone is I believe a more potent opiate, and Lilly sells Oxycontin, which is sustained delivery Oxy.

Ketorolac is another flavor of NSAID without the increased bleed times seen with ibuprofen, etc.  It's pretty potent, might work.  If the hydrocodone isn't touching it, oxy will only be marginally better.  If Vicodin or oxy don't help, you're running out of options without checking in to the hospital to get IV stuff.  The strongest thing is fentanyl, but unless you're a heavy addict or already inured to high dose morphine due to terminal cancer or the like, that would kill you.

Thanks guys; I appreciate the link and the explanation.  :yay

It seems that the combo of Norco and Ketorolac are doing the job.

It sounds like you should have just said "separate checks" when the bill arrived. The economy is rough, some folks don't have much dough, maybe it's what they can afford. Would you rather they didn't come at all? This generation is a pack of iceholes. The North Jersey guineas before my time, used to fill the envelope at the reception depending on how good the food was, they were iceholes too.
