I just bought a 2001 Alero. It's hideous.

There has to be a story about this. Did you need a 2nd car for only a short period of time and got it for like $500?

And LOL at Sarge co-signing on a girlfriend's loan. Lucky that it didn't end up badly.

It's funny that he got manipulated. I love banging chicks who think you owe it to them to take care of them. They start with minor nags about bills then move onto things like car loans. Good for Sarge it didn't back fire.

Yeah, he really could have gotten run over by that deal.

Wasn't manipulated at all.  She was in an accident and her car got totaled, went shopping for a new one but the interest rate they were offering was ridiculous....like 12.9%.  So I asked them what the numbers would look like if I co-signed for her and they came back at 6%.  So I told her if she wanted me to co-sign, I would.  We had already been together for a year at that point and I trusted her.  And even when we broke up....it wasn't a bad break up, she got transferred to Mass and we didn't want to do a long distance relationship.

SD

Didn't she have car insurance? And if so didn't she have full coverage? That's a red flag of manipulation if I've ever seen one.

The real question is how many burritos was Sarge allowed to eat on the weekends. And the real answer is that she broker up with him because he scratched his balls.

Science has spoken.

Absolutely, but she had a POS Saturn and when it was all said and done, the insurance company paid off what she owed.  To be honest, I thought her insurance company hooked her up because I'm pretty sure she owed more than the car was worth and I don't remember her having gap insurance.

Anyone play on softball leagues here? I am on a slow pitch league this spring/summer. First time I have played competitively since high school baseball. Didn't realize all the restrictions to bats and different size softballs etc...Anyway seems like a total different game than baseball. A lot of placement hitting and restrictions to homeruns etc...

amazing how many guys/teams cheat by shaving bats and what not. nothing gayer than watching a ball go 300ft on a check swing and the player denying the bat was altered.

Are you playing in a competitive league or a straight up recreational (beer) league?  Guys who play competitive softball are some of the worst people ever.  Don't get me wrong, I've played in rec leagues and I'm competitive as anything, but I'm also drunk and still having a good time.  The competitive league guys don't drink before or during games.  They have regularly scheduled practices and they buy their own uniforms and each player has like 20 bats and a dozen gloves.  Farg those guys.
