I finished my move today. Same complex, but to a 3rd floor apartment that faces south so I can have DirecTV. Since my girl is gone and two of my boys from work were also moving, I had the majority of it to do myself. I farging hate moving. I did it all except the heavy shtein, which they helped with after they were done.

10 hours of walking up and down stairs carrying shtein.

I think I lost 10 pounds and got a better work out than if I'd gone to the gym. It was hot and obscenely humid.

I hate the beach. I mean, I dig going on vacation to some place warm, and I like the water, but I farging hate the beach. I hate sand getting in my shtein. I hate getting burnt because I'm a northern european mutt who gets sun rash at the thought of 90 degree heat. I especially hate greasy ass sunscreen on my hands, mixing with sand and getting all gritty and farging gross.

Outside of teenaged girls in bikinis I will never understand what the draw of sitting in the sun, sweating your dick off for hours on end, doing nothing.

I'd rather get drunk by the pool, or at a restaurant over-looking the water. farg the beach.

I agree. I didn't mind it when I was a kid 'cause I loved the waves and swimming. When my family went to the beach I was always in the water. As I got older, I got to the point were I would much rather be at a nice pool side bar or restaraunt. Sitting in the heat, getting sand everywere while my kids did what I used to do, well, the only reason I was even there was because the kids had so much fun. Now that they're grown and go to the beach themselves, I haven't been actually out on a beach in years. Don't miss it either.

I hear ya. On my recent 5 day Jamaica trip, I spent maybe an hour total on the beach. Most of my time was spent in the shade...at the swim up bar.

If I go to the beach...I'm either neck deep in the water or under an umbrella...farg being exposed. I hate the sun in that regard but love the sun in the fact that it gives the Earth life.

wrong beach.  Gotta go redneck beach with me, drive on, drink all day, catch fish, see bitches, throw footballs, and get drunk as farg.  Then drive 1/6 of a mile back to my place ftw.
