The whole "we need gambling to make money for the stat" thing has jumped the shark. It was a legitimate thing when only one or two casinos would draw from the surrounding areas. Now that you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a casino, all these places will be doing is fleecing the locals of their discretionary income.

My father in law was up in Maine over the weekend checking out the place they're building.  Here's some pics they took from the frozen lake looking at the new place. 




He went snow mobiling with my brother in law and with one of the neighbors, and it sounds like we're gonna get snow mobiles now.  Cant wait.

i know right.  my lady friend's dad is a retired small town cop and owns a small body shop and her mom works in the library.  i need to find me a sugar momma.  or at least someone who could be a sugar momma once her parents kick the bucket.  in my case, i have neither.

Not really Dio, her dad works at a local hospital as a maintenance supervisor.  He worked his way up from entry level work to this in 20 years.  He's just a smart person when it comes to investments, and they really never spent money, just saved.  Now that the kids are grown up and out of school, they are living it up a bit, and i get to enjoy it.

So... according to U.S. intel, an attempted terrorist attack is "certain", within the next six months. Has there ever been a six month period were an attempted attack wasn't certain since 9/11? Why even go public with this shtein? Our country is being run by and controlled by idiots.

Well, there are shades of certainty. Likely is one thing. Certain is another.

On one hand, I can see the need to occasionally heighten our vigilance. On the other hand, I think that doing so too often only plays into the hands of the terrorist intent (well, one of the intents).

the difference this time around, i dont feel like those in power are saying it so they can take my rights away like the last crew
