Man's body may have lain near highway for 21 years

DOWNSTATE - The skeletal remains found last month along Interstate Highway 57 in Downstate Illinois may have been there as long as 21 years.
 
A pedestrian found the nearly intact remains of Edward Windsor Mathews on Nov. 18 in Mt. Vernon.
 
Deputy Jefferson County Coroner Eddie Joe Marks said the last time anyone is known to have talked to the Goreville man, who was born in 1921, was in 1986.
 
Marks said Mathews most likely died of hypothermia.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

I just spent that last 30 minutes listening to my idiot co-workers argue about why one of them has trouble getting out of bed in the morning.

Half an hour of two people beating around the bush and avoiding the obvious answer. When you're 5'6" and weigh almost 300 pounds its got to be farging hard to get out of bed. Put down the fork, tubby.
