On top of that, if I remember the ESPN story, he actually blanketed Calvin Johnson pretty well in HS.  So not only has he lost his youth, he'll almost assuredly lose millions of dollars from the loss of his NFL career.  Which probably wouldn't have been lost if the fargheads in GA had just made the bill retroactive in the first place.  Nice.

This poor kid and his family will likely never overcome what's happened to him, and that makes me furious.
Anyone but Reid.

Horrendous decision by the Georgia DA.  Use the kid's freedom as a pawn to prove a poltical point.

Kid should never have been in jail in the first place.
