Justice is moving slowly, but it is moving

This article interested me especially, as I started my annual unit on the Civil Rights Movement.  I have come, in my 30s, much more aware of the incredible sacrifices made during the 1960s by these brave men and women, and the horrific end that some met at the hands of hateful men, some acting in the name of God.

This murder was around the same time as the Mississippi Burning case in 1964.  Since the other case got more national exposure, this one isn't nearly as well known.  The federal government finally gets an indictment against the suspect - 40 years late and far short of true justice.

And the story about how this guy was found makes you wonder how hard people were actually looking for him.  A farging Canadian of all people started snooping around a year and a half ago, and accomplished what the authorities couldn't.  Or maybe, wouldn't.
