My grandfather died over 3 years ago.  My grandmother hasn't changed the answering machine, and it still has his voice on it.

Years before she died my mom gave us a christmas ornament with her voice on it wishing us a Merry Christmas.  My daughter was putting up the decorations and triggered it by mistake.  She heard her grandma's voice and started crying.

I couldn't help but laugh because even in death my mother was still causing people heartache.

Several Duke University campus organizations, including the Women's Center, the Student Health Center and the Women's Studies Department, sponsored a "Sex Workers Art Show" on Feb. 3, at which nearly nude "artists" danced for students and others while vulgarly criticizing America via acts such as a woman's pretending to eat excreted dollar bills and a man's kneeling with an American flag inserted in his rear end. Two years ago, Duke's men's lacrosse team was vilified by the Duke administration and faculty merely for hiring two female strippers for a party (from which emanated false charges of rape and the eventual disbarment of the local district attorney). A university spokesman explained to a National Journal reporter that the recent show was acceptable because it was "art" and "social commentary," rather than male-bonding entertainment. I went to a bachelor party in Atlantic City once where the girls that were there to entertain us would pick up our cash, from our faces, with their...well, you get the picture.
