My life kicks ass. Watching stories about people who's lives suck doesn't make me laugh.

My miserable attitude is genetic, not situational.

i like King of Queens, but it's not the only funny sitcom out there, Family Guy, Simpsons, Seinfeld, etc are good too

but i'm with RJS on Raymond...there is something infuriating about it.  the wife is a total c*nt and he plays the typical clueless husband that america loves...it's really awful

Sarge is a full-fledged member of the WBC.

But seriously, a church that hosts the website "godhatesRomes.com"?  That's just great comedy.  Assuming hell exists, those fargers are next.

Everybody Loves Raymond takes the more subtle things married couples might deal with to an illogical extreme and hilarity ensues.

Seinfeld still rules even though I've seen every episode at least twice.

If the WBC showed up to a funeral of someone I cared about I'd plan on going to jail for assault.

The outtake from "Knocked Up" where Jonah Hill is talking about Jake Gyllenhaal getting "a mouth full of Ledger" is slightly less humorous now.

A healthy take on Christianity and religion in general. And only several centuries late.

God and religion still aren't for me, but this type of attitude would make religion and the religious far less repugnant to the people who can't stand them.

Well said.  It sounds like this guy has managed to put down on paper the reasons my wife and I don't go to church.  The self-righteous, ritualistic, and obnoxious way most people practice Christianity is extremely divisive.

That dude is still about as smarmy as any other god worshiper..going around speaking to people, selling his little books full of his little thoughts on his favorite super-ghost.  I'm not impressed.

Sure, things would be better off if the religious right whackos were broken up by the likes of this cat and his ilk, but they're still christians and as such, dangerous and unlikeable.

So, Christians are generally a lot like you?

You should have said 'thoughts on his favorite little super-ghost'. It would have flowed better.

Right you are, sir.

I do care about these things.
