the church is a corporation...no more no less

its no diferent than ibm walmart or haliburton

Its far worse, at least at ibm or walmart there's a product involved, money given to the church is to buy Rev. Lovejoy a new Mercedes.

And they never started a war...well with human lives

I'm Christian but have never seen the benefit of the church or organized religion, but you're correct, its as much of a business as any corp.

Organized religion has little to do with spirituality.  It's a narcotic for weakminded motherfargers who don't have sense enough to think for themselves.

Exactly why I said religion hampers faith.

Man arrives at wedding one year early

LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Teacher Dave Barclay flew thousands of miles across the Atlantic to Wales to attend his friend's wedding, only to discover he was a year early.

Barclay, 34, was told about the wedding earlier in the year and assumed it was to take place in 2007.

It was only when he had flown into Cardiff from Toronto, Canada, and rang the bridegroom seeking details of the venue that he discovered the wedding was in 2008.

"I am a year early -- yeah, my mates are loving it, aren't they," he told BBC Radio Wales.

The groom, Dave Best, had emailed his friend at the start of the year.

"He just said July the 6th and I assumed it was this year because if you tell the guy July 6th, they're going to think it's this year," Barclay said.

Barclay, who has been teaching in Toronto for three years spent £500 ($1,015) on his premature flight.

"At least it's assured me a mention in the speech next year," he added
"Oh, yeah. They'll still boo. They have to. They're born to boo. Just now, they'll only boo with two Os instead of like four." - Larry Andersen

I send my daughter to catholic school because the public schools are horrendous in this godforsaken state.

So I'm supposed to send my child to an inferior school just because I don't agree with one element of the school I do send her to?

That's smurt, winger.

I don't hide my opinion of the church from her.  I'm upfront and honest with her.  I tell her that I think the religious aspect is a fairy tale but I leave it up to her to make her own mind up about it.  If she wants to believe in it, that's fine.  If she doesn't, that's fine too.

It's not rocketry, winger.  I know for someone like you it might be but it's really not.

You have a daughter in a catholic school. This catholic school girl has a father who is instilling an anti-religion message into her. Breeding rebellion.

I think I've seen this movie on my computer. More than once. I like the way it ends.

Of course you enjoy it.  It ends with you shagging her rotten.
