Actually, the nfl stakeholders would be the team owners. The fans are just the customers. Buying NFL branded merchandise does not mean you own part of the NFL. You don't purchase a jersey or a ticket in the hopes of selling it back to the nfl one day for a higher value.

Fans are as much of a stockholder in the NFL as you would be of genuardi's for buying milk and cereal.

I am still astonished that those folks can offer tagged and licensed NFL apparel at such rock bottom prices.  I wonder if they are some sort of philanthropists or something.  Maybe Mr. Chen can get involved in the labor negotiations and get all that ironed out.  Maybe the middle east.  I don't know... but I think he's missed his true calling!

so i've been on like 4 planes since the new rules went into effect...getting on another tomorrow...and i haven't seen anything different at all. i guess the new x-ray thing looks just like the old metal detectors. i actually wanted to make a point of getting the pat down but never even noticed it. i have no problem with extra security but if i have the choice between cancer sprayed on me or hands, i'll take hands.

the one farged up thing though is that they made an announcement that "random" bag checks were going to be made before we got on the plane. even after we went through security. about ten minutes before boarding i saw the one TSA guy looking at me. two or three more times we made eye contact. told the girl standing next to me, watch this guy is totally going to check me. and sure enough as i was going through he started yelling for me to come over. total power trip. i was a total douchebag to him. i basically threw my duffel bag up on the table, was like "oh lucky me" in a total douche voice and then told him be careful theres REALLY dirty underwear in there. as he was zipping it up i grabbed it from him and said thanks i'll take care of it.

the point is that theres no way that shtein was random. i could tell for a while it would be me. it's totally possible i looked shady as i just had a crazy few nights in nawlins but farg those guys. also, it was fun being a fleshpop to them.
