I live across the street from coors field, and by July I thought if I heard "Clap... Clap... Clap Clap Clap... Clap Clap Clap TULO!" one more time, I was going to start picking off Rockies fans from my balcony with my britsh .303.

As for music, it seemed like 90% of what they play is all instrumental.

Die-Hard:  Is this for personal reasons, or something official with a pro team?  The reason I ask is I just read an article in ESPN the magazine (I cant believe I still get it... I canceled it over 4 years ago. NEway, it was the fan issue) how stadium DJ's (of all major sports) have a message board which they use to collaborate on songs they use.  If its for a pro team, someone should be able to hook you up with that.
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

Interesting, Paco. It's for a pro team for a gig I'm working on now. Any chance you remember the name of the board?

browntown update:

they cut my free cable out. i dont have any furniture. there is nowhere to get a quick slice of pizza. a philly dude opened up a sports bar cheesesteak place but word is his cheeseteaks blow.

but its not 100 degrees yet.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

So now, if I see a joke that may offend me, I just go to the "I hate my job" thread and read about Toddys trials and tribulations in Browntown and then all is better.

Jeff Juden?

sounds like a nascrap driver.  are there any jews in nascar?  i'd actually love to see that.  he'd be sponsored by hebew nat'l hot dogs and you could paint a giant yamaka on the roof of the car.  of course, he'll never even come close to winning a race because he'll be going 25 mph and listening to talk radio instead of his pit crew, but in the event that every other car in the race crashes and he manages to finally win one, he can do donuts on the infield......kind of like a dreidel.

Low latitude and elevation give Brownsville a subtropical climate. This is characterized with hot and humid summers and mild winters. It is not unheard of for Brownsville to go for weeks or sometimes months without any rainfall.

The median income for a household in the city was $24,468, and the median income for a family was $26,186. Males had a median income of $21,739 versus $17,116 for females. The per capita income for the city was $9,762. About 32.4% of families and 36.0% of the population were below the poverty line, giving it the highest poverty rate of any city in the country,[9] including 45.0% of those under age 18 and 31.0% of those age 65 or over.

In 2000, the median gross rent paid for housing in Brownsville was $405 per month. This was the lowest of any city in the United States with more than 100,000 people.

The Census Bureau ranks Brownsville as the most impoverished city in the nation, according to the bureau's 2006 American Community Survey. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, only 51.7% of the population has a high school diploma and 87.2% speak a language other than English at home.

Furthermore, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, less than 50% of Brownsville residents have graduated from high school.
