Ah, St E's. Don't know what they were like back then but they blow at football these days.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

they were the shtein when i went there(2 state championships), but when AI is great, and they romp and shut out Newark/William Penn you know the world is ending

Yeah I was a bit surprised when I heard AI was undefeated. Funny part is my schools first year back in D1 and they somehow shared the Flight A title with AI despite an 8-2 record. Oh, delaware football.

Of course St Marks beat their ass in the first round last week, but hey....they're a D2 dynasty who just got moved up.

Just noticed St Marks beat AI last night 10-8.  AI had something like 5 shutouts in a row, all with them scoring anywhere from 27-55pts, but get to the playoffs like everything its a whole new game.

It's been a weird year. Sallies beat St Marks down pretty bad earlier in the year, then Caraval (who's been a D2 powerhouse along with Concord) beat Sallies and got the #1 rank in the state, then got beat by Red Lion Christian Academy the next week and completely missed the D2 playoffs :-D

I would like to say AI played an easy schedule but teams like Middletown and William Penn are never easy games. St Marks just seems to have caught fire at the right time. No idea who they're facing in the championship, I stop paying attention when Concord's out of it.

Sallies barely beat a crappy Upper Darby team last month.

That's all you need to know about Delaware high school football.

Also stop talking about it.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Munson

I hate Sallies with a passion, but they're weaker this year then in years past. A few years ago they were ranked in the top 25 in the nation for a time.

i would say 90% of the time any Delaware school faced Downingtown/UpperDarby/Chester they got rocked.  Delaware football is odd, you have some really talented kids who come out of it, and a ton of junk.  PSU has gotten quite a few kids in the past couple years.  Newark had the Harris bros, Kwame and Orien.  I'm not sure what NFL teams they're playing for now.

how about they dont live in that cesspool of a state and instead come to the northern burbs of philly, specifically to cheltenham.

before i used to get pissed about the bashing of the first state, but lately i cant stand crossing the line.  Its got the worst traffic in the area, they have ongoing construction that never gets finished, and it never alleviates the congestion issues.

MD for the win

Off to get drunk and look back at previous conquests

Like I said, Sallies a few years ago was ranked on a national level...I didn't realize Sallies played Upper Darby now, they had been playing Interboro every year since the late 90s. They were beatin them pretty good a few years ago too.

Don't forget Montell Owens from Concord, plays for the Jags now. He's been on the pro bowl ballet for special teams for the last two years. ALso had Javar Mills from Concord, but he was injury prone once he made it to the NFL. Was on the Colts and Jags.

PSU got Justin Brown from Concord, Devon Hill(???Forget his last name) from Howard, Szcerba from Sallies, that one kid from Middletown...Lassiter? etc....Joe Pa doesn't shy away from Delaware kids. An OT from my graduating class at Concord was gettin full ride offers from Pitt and Tennessee but blew out his knee before his senior year. Shame, dude's like 6'3 320 pounds, plays for UD now.

Christ Phreak. How big was your high school? Sounds like a small college.

had a good time, got really drunk i have the shakes now and need to make a bloody mary.  My best friend left his keys with another friend for some reason, and we took him and his girl home.  He puked all over my car, way too many shots last night.
