Great hip hop tune.  It got burned to farging death but when it first came out the dance floor jumped like a motherfarger when that song came on.  Of course, the fact that they sampled stole ABC from The Jackson 5 might have had something to do with it.

:flipoff  I'm sure my lawyer will be more impressed.

I don't mind you taking advantage of the judicial system in another country for that.  If you did it in the U.S., you'd be a douche.

For me, it is the difference between an accident and being randomly assaulted by a criminal.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Maybe it's comforting to know that the more money you take from him, the more the government is going to use taxpayer money to "rehabilitate" and support him for the rest of his life.

Not really, but I figured that you can pick yourself up some cool, knock-off Victoria's Secret sweatpants with "Love Pink" written on the ass. They'd go nice with your fake Uggs.  :-*

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

QuoteToo many government employees have viewed purchases cards as their personal line of credit. It's time to cut up their cards and start over," Coleman said in a news release about the GAO study.

Start over????:boom WTF, how about you fire the thiefs and hire some new people

Quote
In another fraudulent case, a postmaster used a government credit card to subscribe to two Internet dating sites, the study said, and the employee also used a government computer to access pornographic sites.

The postmaster racked up $1,100 in charges for the dating services, it said, and "the activity went unnoticed" by U.S. Postal Service for a full year.

After an investigation, the employee paid back the $1,100, the study said. He was also removed from his position.

Lost his position but not his job, and we wonder why the Gov. sucks, This is brutal

Sgt PSN

This used to be a big problem with the Marines.  Still is to a certain degree but there's been a big crack down on it over the last couple of years.  I've had 2 gov't credit cards for close to 10 years now.  1 is for travel and the other is for work related purchases.  When I first got the card back in 2000, I could have used it anywhere, for anything.  Not that I did, but I could have.  Now it's set up so that I am only allowed to use it for authorized vendors.

Example:  I manage our command's Fed Ex account.  So when the bill comes in each month I make the payment with my purchase card since Fed Ex is authorized.  If I needed to make an emergency shipment and Fed Ex couldn't do the job but UPS could, I would have to have UPS added to my list of pre approved vendors before the charges would be approved.  And in order for me to have them added I need to fill out a request, provide justification, etc, etc, etc.

My travel card (and this is what got most Marines in trouble) is intended for exactly what it says.  Travel.  When I went to my school a couple weeks ago in Dallas, I used the card to pay for my lodging and food.  Now-a-days, the travel card is only activated when I'm in a travel status.  I have to submit my travel dates to my travel card manager and he/she will activate my card.  That wasn't always the case.  Up until a few years ago, if you had a travel card issued to you then it was active all the time.  And I can't even begin to tell you how many people I knew who were using their card to go on vacation, do xmas shopping, etc, etc.  I've seen reports on Marines with credit card statements upwards of $40-50,000.00.  One guy used his card to take his family to Hawaii and furnished his entire house.  It's rediculous.

Of course, I work at the low level of the government so the big wigs don't mind putting us in check.  But I don't even want to think about what congressmen or other high ranking gov't officials are using those things for.
