Peyton Manning eats nuts.

Great regular season player. Not so great playoff player (in college too).

Are we all stuck in a time warp from 2002-2003 here?

Even injured and with little protection, Donovan looked more accurate last season than he did his first few.  Again, I'd pretty much have to say that if you don't think Donovan's a very good QB, then you should probably not bother following the team too closely for the next 5 years or so.

I never said he wasnt good, I know he is good. BUT, I think if he is going to get to the status of the greats like the Tom Brady's and Mannings of the world, he needs to adjust his accuracy and work on his mechanics in a big way. This is not new news to you guys cmon.

Also, if we did put Manning back there for just one of those championship games or the Superbowl we win one of those without question. That was the main question to start...dont pull this the wrong way.

neither manning, especially peyton has won shtein, anywhere. peyton manning has come up with some of the worst playoff performances i have ever seen from a QB with so many weapons at his disposal. he is a farging fraud and a regular season beauty queen. and should not even be compared to brady in any way.

Threads like this are making me yearn for the draft.  Where the farg does the NFL get off having it on the very last weekend of April.  I want some farging action, dammit.  Stupid NFL fargtards.

How can you already be ready for the draft after we've just come off of a BLISTERING free agency period?

Manning-not the eli one.
Brady. Accurate and consistent.
Not tomlinson. RB shelf life short, QB is the most important position in pro football.
Maybe Carson Palmer, although it would be nice to bring his WR's with him. and I'd like to see how his knee is.
overall, the qb position is not that deep.

exactly!  total scam by the nfl to build it up with all this hype, make it a huge production and it becomes the Chris Berman Show.  The draft should be held the first week of March.  farg the combine.  Let's get it on!
