I may end up going to my cousins spot in Bensalem after work.

Ha.  I would get one but the closest legit Jewish Deli is 250 miles south.

its not katz's or anything but dominic's deli in palm coast is farging really good

I just read what the deal is with the Carnegie Deli, and it said they were shut down for 10 months last year for stealing gas from ConEd? Totally ridiculous for an iconic place like that. shtein guys, make a little effort at least to avoid the cheap Jew stereotype.

ice grillin you

thats burying the lead

they also were banged for back pay to their employees....the women who currently owns it blames it all on her ex husband...they went thru a terribly contentious divorce over him having an affair with one of the waitresses...she also accuses him of stealing their famous pastrimi and matzah ball soup recipes and taking them to the phillipines or somewhere in the far east and using them in a restaurant he opened there with his mistress

Considering the Philillipine president is threatening to recreate the holocsust with drug addicts starring as the Jews, I'd say that probably wasn't the smartest plan.

QB Eagles

Management ripping off employees, banging the waitstaff, and stealing recipes when they leave for another joint are kinda typical restaurant working conditions.

Whoa

Tony Luke's opened a place here. Like 5 minutes from my place.

ice grillin you

i had at least a top ten cheessteak of all time in of all places the outer banks this week....chopped rib eye mushrooms and onions (no green peppers which so many dummies think IS philly)....then they had a housemade wiz made from local cheddar...it was so farging good...only thing holding it back from being like a top 3 was the bread...which obviously you cant duplicate down there

That's usually what kills all who try to duplicate

The philly bars down here can get close but can't get the bread

Speaking of which - there is a Tony Luke's opening up about three miles from my crib

im sure its better than the garbage you have down there but imo tony lukes in philly is overrated...especially their steaks...pats who everyone tries to hate on kills tony lukes steak...their pork is ok but they are right around the corner from johns so why would anyone go there

it serves it purpose because its right neat the sports complex but if it was anywhere else id never go...my favorite thing there is an egg and pepper sandwich

Yeah they should immediately be the top place here.

As for places back home? Unless at CBP I don't eat them. I like Jim's

The place in Reading Terminal is ok too - Carmine's

MDS

my last to meals have been carne enchalada tacos from prima's on 9th st and a tuna sandwich at philly style bagels

im content with my life choices
