The only reason I am not trippin is because it is a 1 year deal for the minimum as far as I understand.

That was the only way I said I would be cool with bringing him in here.

Well, he is 31 years old too. And if they sign Mawae (which they probably won't if Bently is their guy, unless Bentley = G and Mawae = C) then they would have signed a 31 year old and a 35 year old. So we could put that over 30 stuff to rest a little bit.

But I am surprised that they re-signed hm too. Because the split between the two wasn't exactly amicable. It wasn't on the Trotter levels of "farg you...no farg YOU" departure...but still.

I am not excited by this. But since it is a 1-year deal I can live with it.

He'll tear it up this year ala 2002 and then leave for big money again and WIP will be set afire by the callers screaming the Eagles FO sucks.

I put him up there the other day when it was announced as pretty much a done deal. I had Hutchinson up there awhile back for the interior OL upgrade but moved him out. So now Bentley is up there since he is coming here and I want him to be an Eagle.

No Lavar though.

I don't know about Arrington.  If he's willing to take a one-year deal, the Eagles might consider him.

He's better than Barber, Jones, Adams, or any other linebacker other than five-fo on the squad, so unless they're planning on drafting Sims from FSU, I can't see why they wouldn't be interested in him.

I know Spads says otherwise, but still...
