Velvet Revolver is WAY too poppy for my taste. They make musically sound tunes that are very listenable, have good riffs, good vocals, blah blah blah but there's no edge to them at all. Sounds like pre-made mass-produced rock, which is basically what it is. But like I said, I listen when they're on the radio. They don't make me vomit on my shoes or anything.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

VR was pretty damn good in concert, though.  Some bands don't translate well from studio to stage.  They might be the other way around, I think.

I don't care how big of a tool Axl is. Slash, Perry Ferrell and Ian MacKaye are the three musicians that I grew up worshipping. I doubt Fugazi/Minor Threat will be included in this fiasco, but Jane's Addiciton and GNR will be getting my vote throughout.

I'm with ya on GNR.  They are my second favorite band of all time (behind KISS, of course).  Their music is timeless rock.  I can't see them being challenged in this bracket until the finals when they will likely go up against Van Halen.
