Why are you fargs voting for Metallica?

They ceased being a band the moment Cliff Burton died and they personally spearheaded the movement to end file-sharing.

I hope Hetfield & Lars Ullrich catch the bird flu and bleed to death through their eyeballs and iceholes.

Just a guess but maybe because the votes are based on music and not personal opinions.

I'm more amazed that SRV isn't getting more votes.  I like Nirvana's first album, but SRV was the epitome of white-man blues, and deserves better.  Basically, the seeding farged Stevie Ray.....

I'm more amazed that SRV isn't getting more votes.  I like Nirvana's first album, but SRV was the epitome of white-man blues, and deserves better.  Basically, the seeding farged Stevie Ray.....

Why would I vote for Metallica?  Because while Cliff was alive, they kicked enough ass to beat many a band in this kind of gag.  Nevermind what happened with the black album and Napster and everything since.  What they did when they were young was great metal. 

I'll listen to those albums for the rest of my life.

Yep.  I didn't think twice when I voted for Nirvana, because I think their music was much more important.  But SRV was great, and it's a shame that games like this elimate good artists so capriciously.  I'd have kept him over Bush,  or Staind, or Collective Soul for example.  A different way to play might be to list a thousand bands, and have everyone sort them by their own ranking.  Then see what the list looks like.
