horseracing is cool to see because its one lap. maybe of they had nascar at 10 laps it might be exciting. sure the race would be over quick, but you got a hell of race.

I was at lunch and the race was on every tee-vee. It might be the most boring thing I've ever seen. None of you care why so I'll (mercifully) leave it at that.

i despise everything about nascar but going to a big race is still on my list of things to eventually do. maybe hump a townie in a porta potty.

Contrary to popular belief it isn't all rednecks there. And I don't know if you still can, but you used to be able to carry in your own coolers of booze. It certainly isn't for everyone, but if you like to party chances are would at least have a decent time going to one.

I have no interest in watching a race on TV anymore, but I would definitely go to another race.

Yep, thats really the main reason to go, you can byob so your main cost is a ticket/parking. Outside of that its a big party where everyone is cooking out, getting drunk. I'll never watch a race on TV, but in person its pretty fun. I dont give a shtein about the cars other than its fun watching them crash, but you go to races for the people.

I'd go to a NASCAR race, why not. I'd prefer on of the one where they turn both directions though.

I'm of the try anything once school of thought myself and while I'm not interested in the race per se, as a party it's a shteinload of fun. Not sitting in the seats but in the infield, I mean.

It's a shame that people aren't more open minded about life. Some of the best times I've ever had involved plans with no expectations about the outcome.
