Dave Johnson. The two were supposed to be tops in the 1992 Olympics, but Johnson took home the bronze and O'Brien didn't medal. Johnson didn't make the '96 team, and O'Brien won gold.

So the "Dan and Dave" ad campaign in 1992 was a bust.

the us hockey team didnt lose cause they didnt show up...or because of how much money they make...they lost because they werent as good as most of the teams and were better than only a couple...they dont have the talent other countries have...in fact they never have...hockey if you havent noticed is about on par with soccer in this country...and the few really good players the us had are all older and over the hill...and the younger generation is simply not that good...

its really best to educate yourselves before you go into your 'i hate my own life so much im gonna take it out on rich athletes' tirade

i'll still contest that allowing professional athletes play in the olympics was the biggest mistake the olympics evert made.
