The bottom line is that the taterskins moved decisively and aggressively to get the players they wanted.  Now, if only they had a front office that could actually evaluate talent, they might have really shocked us and picked up some actual difference-makers.

exactly...the money isnt the issue...its will those players help the team...archuletta wont and at that money its definitely a laughingstock move

randel el and lloyd should help but we wont know until next year to see if the skins win at least two playoff games

That's pretty accurate. Dan Snyder has hypnotized taterskin & non-taterskin fans alike by flashing them a shiny gold coin & making them believe that got $100M worth of talent for all the money he laid out. Everyone is so dazed by the money he spent, they fail to realize that the players that they acquired are the talent equivalent of half the money.

Paying $5000 for a fake Rolex, doesn't make it a real one.

Snyder used the cash equivalent of a stun gun so that he could reach behind the taterskin fans & pull more money out of them for parking & tickets.

I really don't know much about Todd Collins other than he knows Saunders system very well. Would it stump us all if he were to win the starting position after the pre-season? You never know. Who would of thought that Tom Brady would have ever started, much less win 3 Superbowls

Ever get the feeling our coaching staff listens to us rant here on the discussion boards? I mean, think about it. First, we address the WR issue we all thought was the most important thing to address. Then the second thing we all thought was important, judging by the threads here, the Defensive End issue. Now, Gibbs is saying up next for some taterskin focusing are the Offensive Line depth issues. Some dude just the other day was talking about how important he felt that was, even putting forth the argument that it was more important than our WR issues setting up quite a debate

I believe it has some credence.  Vinny Cerrato's job is to see what the fans want and go get it.

They don't listen to the fans, they ARE fans. Snyder runs that team as though he was a 19-year old DTC member. He's a life-long skins fan and can't help but go get every name that he ever wanted to be on his team.
