Idiot. You traded away part of your draft last year and this year's #1 for a Qb you could have gotten in the second round last year because no one else wanted him. Brilliant.
Don't quit your day job.  Dropped into the second round.  Good one

What are you talking about?? With the 25th pick in the first round....the taterskins selected Jason Campbell.
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

I'm so glad that there are new Skins fans showing up for me to point and laugh at.

Sure thing, chief.  It's not like Cleveland would have picked him.  Idiot.

Oh no! The Browns want to draft this guy! We'd better trade away a bunch of picks for him. He's a HOT commodity!

OK.  That's a little funny.
But Campbell was the third QB taken in the draft.
Cleveland took the 4th.  Charlie Frye.  It was pretty well considered a lock for them to take Campbell if he fell to #34, but think what you want.

So you gave up a future first to move up 10 spots to pick a QB the Browns were interested in?

According to this chart that all NFL personnel follow, you got jacked:

Rinse repeat.

Yeah but dude, they REALLY wanted him. Really really bad. And they were gonna hold their breath until they passed out if they didn't get him.

I just looked at about 20 different 2005 mock drafts and they all had Campbell slipping to 50 or lower  :-D

Mock drafts are teh awesome.
Cleveland took the 4th QB.  They would have taken Campbell if he was there.  Only you people can't figure that out.

About the only thing you can say about that trade was they telegraphed their intentions.
Talking value is not that big a deal.  Trading 1st rounders for a 2005 3rd and 2006 4th.  The 3rd and 4th value getting the pick one year earlier.

But we've got charts to figure out how valuable people are. :-D :-D
The charts are a guideline.
Anything that doesn't factor in the value of having a player on your roster for an extra year if farging bullshtein.
