Yes indeed, point and laugh.  Forgive me if I find you guys a tad ridiculous.

and forgive us if we don't care.  we know we had a zesty season.  and we like the fact that one mediocre year from the skins gets all your hopes up for the inevitable crash next season, making it even more fun to point and laugh at you next year.

lolol @ the post being venemous...the post may not swallow anymore but they still blow the skins

with you living in philly you should know what venemous is
You think Sally Jenkins blows the skins?  Do you read her crap?

Inevitable crash.  Based on what?

Answer me this, why are the Skins going to crash?  If you can't answer that, you're just yet another idiot posting opinions without even thinking about what they're saying.  Go ahead, tell me.  Why will the Skins "crash"?

ice grillin you

trust me dook....you dont know what venemous media is...yet more delusion from skins fans

Alright then, let's talk about the present day.  6-10 vs 10-6.  A sweep at the hands of the Skins.  And your team sat at home watching my team play in the playoffs.  If you want to talk about present day, you have even less reason to point and laugh.

way to avoid recent history...skip the past 15 years of no playoffs and only count the ONE YEAR the skins were better than the birds

the eagles season was the perfect storm...if they dont have a college football roster and split with the skins this year the skins are out of the playoffs

if this next year all that you described above happens again then you have a point
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

well i'll start with reason one out of dozens.  the eagles will be back to normal, meaning they won't have six pro-bowlers on the IR, and will go back to beating the Skins as usual.  The Skins don't make the playoffs without 2 wins against an injury plagued Eagles team.

rjs246

The Skins did beat the Eagles twice this year. The first win was one game after TO was suspended, while McNabb had a hernia, and the starting WRs were a rookie and Greg Lewis. In the second game the Skins were losing to a Mike McMahon-led team. You made the playoffs. Great! Two wins against an Eagles team that was barely competetive and lost 14 players, including five offensive starters to injury/suspension, and one miracle win in Dallas got you into the tourney. Nice farging work.

The skins are going to crash for several reasons. They have no defensive line. Their offensive line has holes. They have ZERO depth. Any injury to a key player and they're farging done. I'm not talking about 10 injuries, I'm talking about Moss twisting his knee, or Springs getting accidentally shot in the face by me, and your team is in a world of hurt. On top of that, your QB is over the hill and your offense is completely predictable. Tack on an inevitable improvement by the Eagles just by virtue of getting healthy, the further improvement of the Giants and the tougher teams that you'll face next year and you can be guaranteed that the Skins will take a step back. But you know, good job on going 10-6 and grabbing that 6-seed. The taterskins rule!
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

If you call that "playing", then OK.  It looked more like they just dropped their skirts and spread their legs for the Seattle SeaChickens without putting up a fight at all.

the skins arent going to crash and burn unless brunnell completely falls off the train and is super zesty next year...which is possible

if they get an edge rusher their d line becomes very good

i question their secondary...springs is done and rogers better pan out or they are in trouble at corner

bottom line is without a qb they cannot win a superbowl and with the messiah gibbs there nothing less is acceptable...espeially with his time running short

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Finally an opinion that is actually realistic.  There's no way the Skins "crash".  When someone says crash, I don't think 8-8.  I think like 5-11.  So if crash meant simply miss the playoffs, then I'm not as appalled by that statement.  But if crash meant crash like crash is supposed to mean, then I think it's retarded.

The D Line was very good this year.  Phillip Daniels had a bunch of sacks at the end of the year.  I think Springs is fine, has another good year in him.  Rogers is already good.

I can see 8-8 as a worst case scenario, if as you guys are saying, the Eagles go 2-0 against them and the Skins go 0-4 against the AFC like they did last year.  I do think the Eagles will bounce back and do well.  But I see no reason why the Skins won't be a force again.  If you want to put the Skins at 8-8 I can live with that.  But whoever the moron was that said they would "crash" needs to pull his head out his ass.

Uh huh.

see, thats the problem with you people.  do you honestly think that's a venemous story?  to anyone not a skins fan, it seems right on track.

there's not a whole lot of positive spin you can put on a game when you made 7 turnovers.  thats 1000 times nicer than the philly media would be on the eagles had they had the same performance.

Not only are they stupid, but they're loud and adament about their stupidity. They won't and probably can't see reason and are utterly convinced that every point they make is 100% right. It's unreal.

half of them are probably taterskin empolyees.
