The "big fish" "Plan A" coach that was rumored (probably Richt) has cooled, and PSU is likely to go with "Plan B" as soon as tomorrow. Probably Bill O'Brien.

"Plan C" is Tom Bradley. Him and Larry Johnson are out there busting their asses attempting to salvage a recruiting class. Good times.

Apparently the players are all pissed off as well.  Said they were never kept in the loop.  Good God, possibly the biggest scandal in college football of all time is unfolding before them and they need to be consulted on the search for a new coach?  Be thankful anyone wants near this powderkeg.
