i would agree, but do you think that this Oline is buttoned up?

Not now it's not.  Again, what happens in free agency is all important this year.

If they can't address the holes they have in the line that way, then I'm all for drafting linemen, just not in the first round.

I think that's a major mistake when skill position players are available who could make a more immediate impact.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

None of the mid-first round DEs really do much for me personally, which is part of why I'd be fine with an OT. DT, LB, OL and DE are the biggest need IMO. Best talent from those positions should get the nod.

i'll be just as disappointed if they pick an o-lineman this year in the first as i was when they picked andrews.  having a good line is overrated.

You're joking right? I'm assuming you're joking.

I was disappointed when they drafted Andrews as well b/c I wanted Steven Jackson, not because I think OL is overrated. And based on the zesty protection the line gave this year OL is definitely a need.

I agree that it's definitely a need, especially on the edges... but should there be an impact player available that addresses the front 7, I want to go there first.

Kind of ironic that the questionable quality of the Andrews pick at #15 is one of the reasons taking an OL at #14 this year is actually not an awful idea.  Andrews showed why he fell out of the top ten by fattening up to 370+ and proving that he may never be elite and may never be able to move to tackle.

They should just trade all of the bazillion low-round picks for as many 1st 2nd and 3rd round picks as they can get. They'll probably get a compensation pick or three for the free agents that left, giving them their requisite project picks in the late rounds. I'd rather have 4-6 rookies with real talent than 11 rookies who might as well be crash test dummies.

That sounds like an idea you could actually execute in Madden.
