hali has bust written all over him...great motors might work in the awful big ten but in the nfl you need athletic ability

he's a Michael Haynes special
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Mario Williams is my wet dream as well. The only way they get him is we hope that several Mike Mamula's emerge and people reach for them causing Mario to drop.

But if he's gone, which he will barring a big move up, then they need to go after Kiwi.

Rome

Yeah, you guys are right.  Other than having sub-4.5 speed in the 40, Hawk has no athletic ability whatsoever.

:-D

PhillyPhreak54

I prefer a DL over a LB.

Get LB via FA.

Andy drafting LBs = train wreck.

BTW: I just found this little tidbit on a draft site that explains quite a bit about certain posters "unbiased" opinions on Hawk:

QuoteHIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: He chose the Buckeyes over Penn State.

::) :-D

I didn't know, and I don't care.  All I know is that IGY said whites couldn't be star LB's, so I'm going with that.

MURP

I agree with the Mario Williams peeps.  He is #1 on my list as well.

they can be but its about a once a decade occurance...definitely not worth a top ten pick...and to say hawk would be a steal at six is super funny
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Would love to see them get a chance at trading up for Williams, but it's unlikely.  If they stay at #14, how about Huff as a replacement for Dawk?  :-\

Now there's something we can all agree on.  Except Urlacher.

Very possible. But I think Huff might go a little earlier than 14. STL could be a spot for him.

Considering he was projected to be in the top three before Young & Bush declared, then yeah, Oakland would be getting a steal with him @ 6.

Rome

BTW: Is anyone else considering declaring who in doing so would possibly affect the draft order?  I haven't heard of anyone else but you never know.

BigEd76

The deadline passed, and most mocks already included Bush, Mario Williams and Ngata, with a few having Young as well, so the underclassmen didn't affect things that much...

Rome

Why is the deadline so early?  The college season just ended two weeks ago and the NFL season hasn't even finished yet.

Is it a recruiting issue, scholarship thing or what?

Never understood that.
