The Mets are not as good compared to the rest of the MLB as the Eagles were compared to the rest of the NFL in 04 even before the injuries to your pitching staff.

That's not the point.  The point is the Mets are in the playoffs now as the Eagles were then.

The Skins were not in the playoffs like the Phillies are not now.


Did you really give two shteins about a Skins fan saying the Eagles weren't going to win the Super Bowl at the time?



Personally, I'd be shocked if the Mets won the WS... considering the injuries they've suffered recently.  But they're still more than capable of getting to the WS considering the garbage that's otherwise representing the NL.
