For that to happen, the Dodgers and Padres can only lose 1 more game. With the Phils winning out and the Mets losing out, the Dodgers/Padres would tie for both the WC and division (better head to head record gets division, other gets WC). The Phils and Mets would then have a 1 game playoff for the division. So, not only does 1 team have to win out for the Mets not to make the division, but 2 teams can only lose 1 more game. And the play each other the next two days. But, I'm telling you. It's gonna happen.
