i never said he was overworked...i said he's been getting more touches, which he has.  he went from getting 11.1 carries per game to 17.3 carries per game over the past 4 games (not counting seattle).

but i guess he really does have bad luck since he get's injured a lot...he should start carrying around a rabbit's foot or a 4 leaf clover.

The injury he had was from the CB coming down on his foot while it was pointed to the ground. It wasn't an "over-worked" injury like he had too many carries and his body broke down on him.

no silly, the Lis Franc is a ticking time bomb, it get's sprained after a certain number of touches.  Chad's number came up in the NFCCG and Duce's came up during the middle the season.

i assume thats a joke

Westbrook is not a workhorse back.  Treating him as one would be a mistake.

The Eagles will always need another guy to split carries and get the tough yards.  That is why the Westbrook contract negotiations were difficult.

That said, he is a playmaker and a difference-maker.  He is a great player.  He is not prone to injury any more than the next guy, but his effectiveness will decrease if he is used improperly.

Course we all called Burgess injury prone with his freak injuries...
Anyone but Reid.

this is starting to get humerous.  We should have a "who's next on IR?" contest.

phattymatty

so what is the number of injuries that make a player injury prone?  because westbrook misses a few games every year, that in my mind is injury prone.

MURP

hope he doesnt have to get surgery for it.

When a player has never played a full season, that's injury prone.
