Why is Reid going with McMahon and not Detmer? Kind of a slap in the face to Detmer, no?

Because McMahon is a QB.  Neckbeard is just Akers' boytoy.

I McMahon may suprise some, may not be as bad as you think. Is it me or does it look like he's going 100 miles per hour after the ball is snapped? His mobility is something opposing teams are going to have to deal with.

Please Donovan...do what they say and just get the damn surgery.  If you get hit in the stomach, you may end up dragging your large intestine behind you as you sit on the cart on your way up the tunnel.

Not everyone he was talking to was being sarcastic.  That's the sad part.

QuoteDECISION IS IN McNABB'S COURT

November 17, 2005
By CHRIS McPHERSON

Quarterback Donovan McNabb visited renowned Philadelphia surgeon Dr. William Meyers this morning regarding his sports hernia and subsequent groin injury.

Meyers recommended that McNabb should have the surgery to correct the condition.

McNabb has to make a decision whether to have the surgery, and end his 2005 season, or try to rehab and play through the pain.

McNabb has already been declared out for Sunday's game against the Giants. Mike McMahon is starting in McNabb's place.

He should get the surgery, avoid any potential complications in the offseason, and let everyone move on.  It's not like he's being tremendously effective this way, anyway.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Oh, and I'm not really big on jinxes...but I can't say I'm looking forward to another Eagle gracing the cover of Madden 07.

Yes, actually...it is.  Particularly in light of the groin injury.
