Maybe Torrance Small is available?

My hope is that the team will rally around this. They need a spark and hopefully they get it. Losing his numbers hurts the offense.

I hope we see 20 carries for Westbrook, 10 carries for Gordon and some good PA passing.

You know, for all of you freaks that got suckered in to supporting TO through everything I'd like to give a nice hearty "I told you so." Good to see that some of you are coming over to the side of reason, even if it is after the fact.

Have any you read the entire interview?? A lot of what he said was take totally out of context. I'm not saying he is innocent as he does enjoy taking stabs at the FO but the Favre comments were completely distorted.

Welcome to the board. Don't start with me. This is typical TO bullshtein and there are no two ways about it. Sure you can take a look at SOME of the things he said this ONE time and say maybe it was taken a little bit out of context. But for real, this is the straw that broke the camel's back. If this were an isolated incident maybe I would agree with you. But it obviously isn't and his ass needs to get kicked to the curb. I hope they fire rubber bullets at his back when they run him out of town.
Start with you? Ha. ha. As I said TO has a serious disconnect between his brain and mouth, but this was a setup by those a-holios at ESPN who were solely out for ratings.

Blah blah blah, reasonable concerns, blah blah blah

I see what you're saying, but I don't believe for a second that we don't have a running game. Westbrook and Gordon are more than capable, they just haven't been used at all or in the proper way.

Greg Lewis is fast enough to stretch the field and LJ is a legit threat in the middle. Brown and McMullen are more or less unknowns, but the tool are there for this offense to work. This move forces Reid to call a more balanced game on offense and that can do nothing but help. This is a 10-6 team without TO and while that doesn't reach any of our expectations, once they get in the playoffs, anything can happen.

We can only hope. I hope Brown and McMullen come through...if they do then TO will be sitting a long time.

Greg Lewis is fast enough to stretch the field, but he doesn't have Pinkston's height. That's why we haven't really seen McNabb and Lewis connect on a deep ball yet this year. Andy might need to move Greg around now ala TO to free him up to make plays. Last year when he was in the slot he was getting open more for big plays.

L.J Smith does have the potential to control the middle of the field...provided he keeps the ball in his goddamn hands.

RJS...your newfound optimism scares me.

I'm not sure about all that Sarge and rjs. TO is an ass, no doubt. But without him, the Eagles are worse. Before TO, we still had Pinkston to stretch the defenses, and we had a healthy McNabb. Add that we had a running game (by committee), and the team was in a completely different light than it is now.

I don't think that the Eagles are 'worse' without him.  I think the offense is more dynamic and has more big play potential but he hasn't made this team any better this year.  I would still love to have his capability on the field.  Don't get me wrong about that.  I love what he's able to do on the field.  I love what he brings to the team in terms of talent and ability.  But I'm sick of him.  I'm sick of everything about him off the field.  And in my opinion he's no longer worth the effort.  This team's been getting it's ass kicked with him on the field so it's not like he's making a huge difference.  If this team were winning and playing well then it might be another story.  But the bottom line is that this team is capable of getting their asses handed to them without TO as well.  So save me the agony of having to endure more TO outbursts in the process.

Hey, at least you called me resonable.  Well, sorta..

I hope they start using Gordon more, and using him to do what Westbrook hasn't been able/allowed to do so far this season.  That was what Phanatic and I were talking about at the KC game when they gave the ball to Gordon a few times -- Andy needs to pop his head out, and use these guys as RUNNING BACKS that catch, not wide receivers that run.

rjs, I hope you are right about 10-6.  I really do.  But I don't see it without TO and a banged up QB.  This stretch will tell the tale, that's for sure.

And that's the farging scary part about all of this.  They just aren't as good as they should be.

And where's Yeti to defend his punk-ass, anyway?  Yeti saw this coming, knew he couldn't break the sponsorship, and moved his hairy ass the farg out of dodge to some decrepit, broken down shack soon to be covered under 9 feet of snow.
