Why I am here:  I stumbled onto this site trying to look up good Eagles websites at the beginning of the season. 

Comments:  I'm a transplanted Pennsylvanian (born in Ephrata, grew up in Honey Brook and Glenmoore, graduated from Downingtown HS), and have been following the Eagles since the 1980 season (No bandwagon comments, please!  I was 9 at the time and it was the first time I had ever seen football.  I can't help it they went to the Super Bowl that year.  ).  I suffered through my college years at Eastern College in the early 1990s (my best friend was a Cowboys fan) and have followed the Eagles through good years, bad years, and even through the Rich Kotite years.  Heck, the year I bought the Sunday ticket package was the year the Eagles went 3-13, and I watched every frickin' game (my wife said after spending $200 or whatever it was then, I was going to watch it if it killed me!).

Anyway, it's good to be able to talk some Eagles football, with actual Eagles fans!

Comments: Been a fan since '79 (Jaws, Wilbert, & Carmichael are still my all-time faves). Probaly have more Eagles cards then all ya (Cripes, For the last time does anyone else collect??? I have tons of dupes and would like to trade). I still drop in on the official board just to see what it has become   I can also be found on E-Fan's board. I went from old-school Metalhead to drummer in a punk band (Anyone in South Jersey ever hear of "Black Friday"?) Now I'm just old, fat & married  :-/ .Now that I'm "outted" as a lurker I should post more but probaly won't 'coz I'm too damn lazy   But please keep on posting gang, You're a good group here and it keeps me up to date on the goings on back home whilst I languish in the bayous of Louisiana.
