they are all-out blitzing almost every play.  you max protect, and send you superstar deep to make a play on the ball.  at least scare them out of blitzing every farging play.

Ever wonder why the Eagles take so long in the huddle and barely get the play off in time? Here's the complex playcalling going on:

"Okay guys, I want four receivers going deep. I won't have time to look at you, even if you get open, but do it anyway. O-line, I want you guys to just fall down there immediately and let 2 guys rush straight at me untouched. Brian, Josh? You guys run over near the sidelines so I can overthrow you when the rush is bearing down on me. Okay, break!"

Andy Reid has no business calling plays in the NFL.  Last year, the talent level was good enough to get away with it.  This year, apparently it's simply not.  I don't care what success he's had.  He's being stubborn and stupid this year, and he is sucking big-time balls.  Unacceptable.

The Eagles coaching staff is doing a terrible job.  There is no reason McNabb should have 4 seconds on almost every play at the line of scrimmage.

I like Reid and McNabb...but its clear by the way other teams are playing them that they think its a good gamble to sell out the blitz on every play and roll the dice that McNabb cant find / hit the open receiver because of his horrific accuracy issues.  The only times I have seem McNabb with any semblence of reliable accuracy is when he has the space to setup and step into his throws.  And even then he still can't complete a long pass.

All teams are doing is at a minimum make it so he has to throw off his backfoot or on the run...those throws are almost all arm/torso...and with his hernia its pretty obvious his accuracy is beyond inconsistent.

Reid as a good coach should have his team better prepared...the play calling is way to slow.  And at this point I think its a mistake to keep playing McNabb...get him the surgery and be done with it.  Put in Detmer.
